your radiator is now 15 years old and needs a recore

they wear out and sludge up

this guy's brilliant website shows what yours looks like inside

    http://bernardembden.com/xjs/clograd/index.htm

you should get a full recore for $ 300 or so

Have any of you guys in the UK come up with a surefire solution to overheating? We get to 95 degrees fahrenheit here in the Summer, and I have problems on any day it gets over 80. I have put in new thermostats, a new coolant temp sensor, run high pressure water through the radiator from the back side, installed an air dam (previously missing, burped the radiator/cooling system per the factory manual instructions, and still have the problem. An expensive aluminium radiator (please note correct spelling) has been suggested. Temp needle will run right up to just under the maximum reading. Thanks,
