    I have an eratic idle, normally from cold have tried adjusting the idle control valve on the lh side of the engine, to no avail. I was wondering if this could be liked to the distributor advance? I understand these can sometimes stick? Or should I look at replacing the idle control valve? Sometimes the engine hunts when hot, and if reve up backfires. Any ideas? My first post! XJS are great! Shocked
