Hi , my 94 V12 has had the problem over the two years i have owned it in that when i press the foot brake the dash volt meter dropped by two to three needle widths. This was not due to the high load as with no abs pump running was only 2 x 21w bulbs as extra load. The meter did not drop with headlamps , rear window etc switch on and lots of owners told me this was normal for these cars. I was convinced this was NOT normal and also the volt meter on dash never goes higher than 13v but with a meter across battery was reading 14.4 on cold start up so i had to solve this. After checking and power bus cable on bulk head problem still the same so dash out and the problem is sorted at last.

After this video was made i removed the four pin plug and soldered , heat shrink covered all wires and so this cheap plug / socket is no longer in the car. I would like to know how many other members cars have this fault ? This cure also improves power supply to gearbox and gearbox ecu and brighter stop lamps on a 94 v12 and could be the same on a 4.0l car but have not looked at the circuit.
