Hi,
I thought I would post a pic or 2 of my '88 HE.
The car has a 'dream' history.
In 1988 it was sold new by Mann Egerton in Warwick to Mrs M Hines (reg 221MNH)
In 1997 it was sold again by HA Fox in Cheltenham (I have the advert from the Telegraph) with only 44k on the clock to my father, who registered it as 5909 XJ as the original plate was retained.
In June of last year I bought it and the plate from my father.
She only has 91k now and every bill from new includinmg sales literature, PDI check form and all the paper work for when it was sold to my father.
It is Alpine green with Doeskin leather.
Although now I service the car myself it has never had a non Jaguar part fitted (except the CD player, but I have the original radio).
