    hi there
    regarding the front crossmember ive just had to replace mine not a job for the feint harted so i intrusted the the job to my local specialist £1800 inc vat and mot Sad the main place they rot is in the turrets that house the top of the springs only visable with a torch from under the car the crossmember is the same on all xjs models

    I am considering buying a 1993 XJS Convertible. I have heard that there are rot problems with the front crossmember. Can anyone tell me where I should especially look, or is it general rot. Thanks.
