Hi, there was a recient article on this in the JEC magazine, the chap in there suggests its necessary to take very great care by using a soldering iron to burn the rubber hoses from the injector rail. I used a sharp stanley blade to remove the injectors from my fuel rail,, and had no problems. To answer your question, no they are not crimped on they are pushed on the hose is very tight, hence the need to cutting it off. A word of warning, you cant take one injector out in situe, the whole rail will need to be removed, and you will need a new set of o-rings for the injectors so they re-seal. Have a good look at them while they are out, I had a couple with cracked ends that I decided to replace. Expencive at over 80 quid each!

V12 Injectors
How are the rubber pipes to the injectors disconnected from the fuel rail? There is a metal collar on each one that appears to be some form of crimped fitting. Any advice?
