Have you considered getting a stainless pipe made up ? Might not be too expensive and it should last a bit longer than mild steel.

Yup, sill on there and listed.

Just bought two myself. Mot advisary back in June. Garage managed to bodge a temporary repair from copper pipe to make it pass but still needs replacing. Just need to find a replacement exhaust centre section now for an advisary there too - leaking joint in the Y piece. More rocking horse sh*t to get hold of.

Still need a washer jet, on the cheap. That's all for parts, the other small jobs I can manage.

    Welcome aboard...

Those German roadworthiness tests sound like a nightmare. What bits do you still need ?

Greetings Cat lovers. I've just jumped over from the dark side. Very Happy

I hope I'm not considered to be a one post wonder, all take and no give. I'll get more involved when I finally get somewhere to work on my car. Where I am it's not allowed to dismantle cars it the street or you get sent to the gas chamber. affraid

I bought a silver 1989 3.6 about 6 months ago and I love it. Familiar story - always liked them and now I can afford one.... It's in pretty good shape for a 22 year old. Came with a folder full of history, has had new wings, respray etc. Elderly Doctor owned, use by his now deceased wife - the car wanted for little.

Now I have the task of tightening the door mirrors and getting the screen washer to work. The motor is fine but in the course of trying to remove the spray unit (don't know what's called, sit under the scuttle tray) I broke it. It looked like you could unscrew it with a flathead screwdriver so I tried and broke it. Sad

Anyway, hope to join in the banter with everyone (including grumpypants22) Wink
