Sorry it has taken so long to add the final installment!
I did put a set of starfish wheels on the car as I have always liked these:

But something wasn't right, maybe I am too used to seeing the car on lattice wheels?
    Here she is finished:

your Jag should be perfect when the work is done. Nice workshop, it must be nice to have a place you can trust.
Where and how much for the new bushes?
    Lee.

The bushes are all readily availible from my Jaguar Main Agent, Grange of Exeter, very helpful and although they are not cheap, £56 each for the rear subframe mounts for instance, but they are the real thing.

I considered the polybush or upgrade route and after driving KWE's demonstartor decided to stick to the original feel of the car. If I wanted a sports car I'd have... Wink

What looks like rust on the lower front spirng pans is actually our good ole zummerset red mud!
The cleaning of the engine bay was achieved with a little Wurth brake and clutch cleaner and a lot of elbow grease! Very Happy

I am having some serious work done to my '88 H.E. right now. All new bushes, all new panels under the front bumper, a small bubble of rust being done on the rear NS arch, a nice set of refurbished starfish wheels to go on, new belts, new hoses, aicon converted to R134a, new condenser and radiator, new Jaguar Sport rack bushes to replace those horrible polyurethane things.

Should be fab when it is done, here are some pics of the work in progress, to do the front subframe the engine is on a hoist, the car is on a ramp and there is a block of wood on a trolley jack stopping the front subframe from swinging too low. Shocked

    Progress will be updated!
