    I have contacted him and as many other parts folks as possible. I found one gentleman who will parting out a crashed 1989 with belts like mine. And, Jaguar has now started to replace the stock of the chest/shoulder belts at their dealers.
    The mouse is supposedly in line for manufacture soon. I hate the mouse thing so I don't care. I can live with the belts and manual attachment.

    I have a 1988 XJS coupe. It has the mouse on the door type seat belts. The driver's side mouse stopped working and thee chest belt buckle is broken. I can't find replacements anywhere (Jaguar included). Is there a fix you know of.
    Can the 3 point belts be used to replace the mouse kind?
    Or is my only option the racing harness style?
    Does anyone have anything that can help?
