As with the other thread for removing the door card I'd like to create one for taking the scuttle tray off. It's not blindingly obvious to me how it works. I removed the wiper arms and thought the tray would just lift off but it does not pass over the remaining threaded part.
I've learnt that the wiper assembly must be removed intact but how does one access the necessary parts if they are covered ?
Maybe Mr The Don would be able to write it up and I'll add the photos. It will be a useful thread not only for people wanting to replace the wiper mechanism but for those with rain water leaks and want to check the run off channels.
