Well, it finally happened - I took on too many projects. With 3 project cars on the go, all with future plans, one has to leave, and unfortunately, for various reasons, it's the XJS.
1985 V12 HE with around 70k on the clock.
It had been standing for a few years when I acquired it, but it did start when I got it home. Over the 6 months or so it has been started regularly, but recently runs for about 5 or 10 seconds and then dies as if the ignition has been killed.
It's a full rolling shell with complete engine and drive train, but that's it.
No interior
No seats
No steering wheel
No mirrors
No interior trim
No window motors
You get the picture
In the last ten years it's had some level of restoration by a previous owner, with (I think) XJR-S body kit and later XJ alloys.
Pics available on request.
I'm loath to dispose of vehicles, and would rather it go to a good home, but with the current value of scrap it's worth £250 as that, so I'd be reluctant to drop much lower.
You'll need a trailer.
